How can I become a member
and what are the obligations?

Qualifications of membership in Soroptimist International are:

  • be working in a profession or business or in an occupation of comparable status or responsibilities to those of a person working in a profession or business.
  • be recently returned from or temporarily or permanently out of work from a profession or business.
  • be embarking on a career in a profession or business.

Obligations of membership in SI Oceanside-Carlsbad are:

  • Pay annual dues, which are $165.00, July 1-June 30. Annual dues for new members are prorated from the entry month and have an additional one-time cost of $15.50 for membership pin and name badge.
  • $17.00 for each lunch meeting attended (up to 3 per month).
  • participate in the Salad Luncheon by making two salads or desserts.
  • do a Personal Project that nets at least $50 (or contribute $50 in lieu of a personal project).
  • join and participate in at least one committee

1st, 3rd and 4th Fridays of each month at:
El Camino Country Club
3202 Vista Way
(about 1/4 mile east of El Camino Real and Vista Way)
We do not meet in December or July
